Indian Hill Names New Leaders for Girls Lacrosse

Please join us in welcoming both Sam Herman and Biz Brink to the Indian Hill family!

Good morning Girl's Lacrosse families!

I am excited to announce that we have found our next leaders of our girl's lacrosse program.

Samantha (Sam) Herman will take over as our Head Coach/ Program Director and Elizabeth (Biz) Goslee Brink will be joining the program to assist.

Sam most recently was a volunteer assistant coach at Xavier University and led our Indian Hill Middle School lacrosse program. She is currently the Ohio Girls Regional Director of True Lacrosse Club. Before moving to Ohio, Sam was an assistant coach at the University of Hartford (Division 1) from July 2019 – August 2021.

During her playing days, Sam was a four-year starter at High Point University and was team captain in 2018 and 2019 and earned such honors as: Big South All Decade Team, Senior All Star, 1^st Team All-Big South, offensive and defensive player of the week awards, tournament MVP, Big South Presidential Honor Roll and Millis Scholar Athlete.

Biz joins the program after serving as the Head Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach from July 2020 – April 2022 at Springboro High School, a very successful program over the last few years. Biz has also served as a coach and Regional Co-Coordinator for Major Force Lacrosse Club. Her passion outside of lacrosse is serving individuals with intellectual disabilities and has served as a program manager of Hamilton County for the Special Olympics. Biz coached at Marquette University and the University of Scranton before taking over as a high school coach.

During her playing days, Biz played at Marquette University after graduating from Mount Notre Dame high school. She was a four-year member of the Marquette Women's Lacrosse team, starting every game. Highlights of her college playing career include: member of the USA Women's National Lacrosse Team, FOUR-year captain of the Marquette Women's Lacrosse team, two-year MVP at Marquette, four- year Team Hustle Award, four-year Big East All-Academic Team as well as All-Big East Honors.
