For the second straight year, it will be Indian Hill representing Region 8 in the Division II state tournament.
Indian Hill (16-3) trailed 10-8 entering the fourth quarter against CHCA (15-3) before outscoring the Eagles 4-1 in the final frame to win the regional final 12-11. The Braves tied the game with goals from Lexi Larsen and Michelle Lindberg. Jessi Robinson scored with just over four minutes left to take the lead. Larsen scored again for the two-goal advantage.
CHCA scored with less than 90 seconds remaining to get back within a goal but couldn't score again to force overtime.
Indian Hill will meet the Region 7 winner, Columbus St. Francis DeSales, in the state semifinal on Tuesday, June 4, at Roger Glass Stadium in Dayton. The teams met in the regular season with DeSales getting a 13-12 victory on April 26.
