She continued her soccer career at the University of Virginia, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics before completing a Master of Teaching degree.

In addition to coaching, Coach Dunlap serves Indian Hill as a dedicated Mathematics Teacher, reinforcing her belief that education and athletics work together to prepare students for success.

Coaching Journey

Coach Dunlap began her coaching career in 1995 and also coached with CUP (Cincinnati United Premier Soccer Club) through 2007, helping develop many of the region's top young players before they reached the high school level.

Her decades of experience have made her one of the most respected teachers of the game in Ohio.

Coaching Philosophy

Coach Dunlap believes that high school athletics provide opportunities to teach lessons that extend far beyond wins and losses. Every practice, game, and season becomes an opportunity to develop resilient, confident young women who are prepared to lead in college and throughout life.

Her program emphasizes:

  • Commitment to team over self

  • Competitive excellence with humility

  • Accountability and responsibility

  • Leadership through service

  • Continuous improvement

While championships are celebrated, Coach Dunlap believes the greatest measure of success is watching former players grow into successful adults who continue to value teamwork, discipline, and lifelong learning.

The Indian Hill Difference

Coach Dunlap believes Indian Hill provides an exceptional environment for student-athletes.

The community's commitment to academic excellence, family support, and educational-based athletics allows students to pursue success both in the classroom and on the soccer field.

The result is a culture where athletes are challenged to become the very best versions of themselves while representing something much larger than themselves.

Building More Than Soccer Players

Throughout her career, Coach Dunlap has never viewed success solely through the lens of championships.

Her greatest accomplishment has been helping young women discover confidence, resilience, leadership, and lifelong friendships through the game of soccer.

More than 40 former Braves have continued playing collegiately, but countless others have carried the lessons learned in the Indian Hill program into careers, families, and communities across the country.

Beyond the Sidelines
