Maria A. Rodenberg, M.D. is a orthopedic surgeon with interests that include sports medicine and shoulder injuries. She is known for her extensive training and experience in the field and for her commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Dr. Rodenberg’s academic journey began at Fordham University, where she played Division I volleyball while earning her Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Biology and Anthropology. She continued her education at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, earning a position in the Nutrition Medical Student Scholar Program.

During a residency at UPMC Hamot’s Department of Orthopaedics in Erie, Pennsylvania, she received invaluable experience under the guidance of renowned surgeons.

Dr. Rodenberg then completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Chicago, where she worked alongside top physicians and provided sports coverage for Chicago sports teams, including Bears (NFL), Sky (WNBA), Fire (MLS), and University of Chicago Athletics.

In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Rodenberg remains active in sports. She is certified in CrossFit and USA Weightlifting and plays recreational volleyball. She is committed to continuing her professional growth while contributing to the Cincinnati community she has always called home.
